What are Managed IT services?
For many years, IT professionals have managed networks internally and have counted on software and hardware solutions. As times and technologies evolve, we are using a more precise and automated way of managing complex tasks, such as detecting and removing viruses, checking workstation/services, making sure all the pertinent company data is backed up and in a safe, off-site location (i.e., the Cloud). Properly managing your network and planning can drastically prevent downtime and possible data and financial loss. So how does all of this actually work, and what is the cost?
How Does it Work?
The way it works is that we install an agent and add your workstation(s)/server onto our monitoring system. With our service, we cover antivirus (no more pesky annual renewals and pop-ups), remote access for Network Tactics to fix your computer issues, monitor workstation/server, initiate and monitor off-site backups and asset management. Our system will detect a virus and automatically try to remove it and will give us a notification.
If you are an existing client, then you know we like to keep things simple, and we feel the same way about pricing. The price for this service is $10 a month per workstation, $20 a month per server, and $1 per gig for backup. Invoices are sent out quarterly and can be easily paid online.
